Topographical skills


Topographical skills examination is another important milestone in the process of PCO licence application. You are expected to prove your topographical knowledge such as map reading abilities, route finding - local and suburban areas, locating routes outside London, locate points of interest using map, navigational skills, general topography including directional skills, familiarity of road signs and driver responsibilities. 

PCO Licence London provides a written test in English to check your capability to read, write and understand English. Tools like London A – Z and Great Britain road atlas and maps are provided to value your skills. If you are a newbie, you must be assessed. If you are a previously licensed or professional London taxi driver, you can be exempted.
